My life’s work is driven by desire to shine light in dim places and to leave the world better than how I find it.

My 20-year journalism career has kept these principles at the forefront of all I have done. You will find here just a sampling of some of my clips. You will find many on the environment, but I have written about a wide range of topics in Central Florida, including education, real estate, business, interesting people, tragedy and more.

I hold keen interest in stress management,  Eastern and Western techniques to stress management and in helping people find healthy stress-management options that support their lives, careers, and families. My areas of expertise include massage therapy, yoga and meditation instruction, and journaling instruction. I have management experience and have been a professional journalist for more than 20 years.

I have volunteered teaching yoga in the Florida prison system  to male inmates.

I am a licensed massage therapist in the state of Florida. (MA56756).

I founded Rainbow Paddlers, an Orando-area kayaking group.

I have volunteered organizing events for the Orlando Yoga Group and studied yoga teacher studies at Yogi Hari’s Ashram in Miramar, Florida.

My main interests include the outdoors, the beach, swimming, running, barefoot and Thai massage, gardening, reading, vegetarian cooking, and kayaking.
